Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Marketplace Auto-Reply (“the Service”) is a tool that helps Facebook Marketplace sellers reply to messages and organize their prospects. Controller: Tomas Ignacio Riat. Contact: tomasriat@riatdevelop.com.

2. What data we process

• Your account data: email, name (optional) and password (stored with an irreversible hash; never in plain text).
• Your Marketplace chat messages: the extension reads, within your own browser and only on facebook.com, the messages of the conversations you have open, for the sole purpose of generating the automatic reply.
• Your prospects’ data (leads): name, city and phone the buyer voluntarily shares in the conversation, plus the original message. They are stored in your dashboard, visible only to your account.
• Configuration: your agent guidelines, integrations (WhatsApp number for alerts, webhook, Google sheet) and the token that links your extension.

We never ask for your Facebook password nor access your Facebook account from our servers.

3. What we use them for

Exclusively to provide the Service: generate replies, record your leads, notify you through the channels you configure and give you support. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not share it with third parties outside the Service.

4. Providers involved

• Anthropic (Claude): processes the conversation text to generate the agent’s reply.
• WhatsApp (via Evolution API): if you enable alerts, we send the notice of each lead to YOUR number.
• Google Sheets: if you connect your Google, we add rows to the sheet you choose. We only ask for access to spreadsheets; you can disconnect it whenever you want.
• Your webhook: if you configure your own URL, we send your leads there under your responsibility.

5. The Chrome extension

The extension runs only on facebook.com (messages and Marketplace). It stores in your browser (chrome.storage) your connection token and your preferences. It does not collect browsing history, does not read other tabs and does not inject advertising. Single purpose: to reply to your Marketplace messages and record the contact details your buyers share.

6. Retention and your rights

We keep your data while your account exists. You can request the complete deletion of your account and its data by writing to tomasriat@riatdevelop.com; you can also export your leads as CSV from the dashboard whenever you want.

7. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. Relevant changes are announced by email.
